These houses are built out of adobe in the territorial style with pitched tin roofs. The furniture is custom made by Ken Wolosin. . Each house has one bedroom with a queen size bed, a day bed/couch in the living area, and a stored blowup mattress if needed. Each bathroom includes a cast iron tub with shower. The houses are heated with wood stoves and solar orientation. Also included: TV, VCR, CD player, washer/dryer, and gas grill. The cupboards and baths are filled with all essentials (condiments, Band-Aids, shampoo...well just about anything you can think of!).

Horse Facilities - Each house has a horse shed, secure paneled paddock, and outdoor water spigot. The driveways are circular for large trailers. The owners want your horses to be comfortable and safe!

SUNTERRA DE TAOS RENTALS !

Come stay with us at Sunterra de Taos.  We have a spacious, hand crafted, charming hacienda on three pastoral acres of family land. The Don Fernando River and its lush bosque (woodland) meanders around the property, which includes five beautifully, planted gardens featuring native plants, vegetables, herbs, and brilliant flowers.

There are spectacular views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, which creates an artistic backdrop for our beautiful land.  The 360° view of the mountains, Taos Valley, and even as far south as the Jemez Mountains in the distance is not to be missed. Wildlife is abundant on our land as the bosque and river act as a bird sanctuary.  Horses, cows, and sheep graze on surrounding farmland. 

At Casa Rosa and Casa del Rio we offer seclusion, yet convenience to all of the area's treasures. We are 5 minutes from  Historic Taos Plaza and close to shops, galleries, museums, and restaurants.  There is also easy access to Taos Ski Valley, river rafting, and myriad other outdoor recreational activities. We love our pets: Emily our cat and Chica, Mandy, Adobe, and Pancho our dogs; so your pets are welcome too!

Our other Taos Guest Rentals are Casa Conejos and Casa de Colores, located West and North of Taos Plaza (respectively). Casa Conejos has 3 luxury suites (a 2 bdrm, 1 bdrm and studio). Casa de Colores is a family home with 3 bdrms and 2 baths. Please view the descriptions and rates below.
